Chitosan Is the Ideal Resource for Plant Disease Management under Sustainable Agriculture

نویسندگان

چکیده

In the spirit of returning to nature and using scientific applications raise plant efficiency reduce pathogen risk, scientists began searching for safe, natural alternatives pesticides that are highly effective low cost. On top these alternatives, chitosan came with its biodegradability, biocompatibility, antimicrobial activity, nontoxicity, which granted it dual energetic effects during host-pathogen interaction. Chitosan promotes growth, regulates cell homeostasis metabolic processes, triggers defense mechanisms; on other hand, inhibits ability pathogens by disrupting growth reducing reproduction, wherefore will become an increasingly prevalent ideal resource agricultural sustainability.

Sustainable water resource management under hydrological uncertainty

[1] A proper understanding of the sources and effects of uncertainty is needed to achieve the goals of reliability and sustainability in water resource management and planning. Many studies have focused on uncertainties relating to climate inputs (e.g., precipitation and temperature), as well as those related to supply and demand relationships. In the end-to-end projection of the hydrological i...

Plant microbiomes and sustainable agriculture

B acteria had been around long before multi-cellular eukaryotes evolved and quickly began to colonize these new life forms as another suitable habitat and potential source of nutrients. Nearly all higher organisms across taxa now have bacterial communities living on and within them—from mutually beneficial symbioses to antagonistic parasitic conflicts. They have co-evolved with their microbiota...

Is rangeland agriculture sustainable?

The objective of this paper is to examine the sustainability of rangeland agriculture (i.e., managed grazing) on a world-wide basis, with a focus on North America. Sustainability is addressed on three fronts: 1) ecological, 2) economic, and 3) social acceptance. Based on previous and on-going research, we suggest that employment of science-based rangeland grazing management strategies and tacti...
